Overlooking Lake Michigan, this Mediterranean-style mansion, built in 1923, serves as a porthole into a 17th century aesthetic experience. Adorned with courtyards, sculptures, white stucco walls, wooden furniture, as well as Italian, Dutch, and Spanish paintings, Villa Terrace is the best place to go if you're in the mood for a little bit of Europe. Cafe Sopra Mare

The Italian café, sponsored by the Friends of Villa Terrace, returns to the Mercury Courtyard this summer. On Sunday mornings through September, the Villa Terrace invites you to come relax and savor specialty coffees, pastries and other refreshments sold by Bella Caffé. Herbs, plants, flowers and produce available for purchase. Farm Stand by Growing Power. Visitors can also view the Museum's collection and featured exhibitions. Then listen to live performances by exceptional musicians.

FREE with General Admission to the Museum: $5 Adults/$3 Seniors, Veterans and Students/FREE Members and Active Military. Information: 414-271-3656.

Renaissance Garden Opening Ceremony

Join us as we celebrate the opening of the Renaissance Garden for the 2008 season. Enjoy music and lemonade while listening to a proclamation declaring the Garden officially open! Garden Volunteer Work Day

Big pruning day! Prune the courtyard boxwood and forecourt yews. Continue the care and training of arbor. Weed hydrangea and rose beds. If anyone has power trimmers and could share them for the day, it would be greatly appreciated.
