The Bayfield Winery is located high on the hills overlooking the waters of Lake Superior. Scott and Renate Hauser specialize in making traditional hard ciders, meads and country wines from primarily locally grown fruits and honey.

This winery is located in an area largely populated by people of Finnish descent. It produces 17 different wines. This writer's favorite and their best seller is White Merlot.

Chateau St. Croix Winery is a delicious taste of Europe. The 55-acre estate features a carriage house, stables, vineyards, formal gardens, picnic areas and a fishing pond and is open to the public year-round. Wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Red Zinfandel, Frontenac, Wild River Rosé, Port, Symphony, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Chateau Rouge and Thoroughbred Red.
