Discovery World museum doesn't want the price of gas to keep you from checking out everything this lakefront attraction has to offer, so starting Saturday, for the rest of May it's lopping the price of a gallon of gas (basically, $4) off admission prices.
Additionally, the museum, which is usually closed Mondays, will open on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day.
"There is nothing like summer in Milwaukee," said Joel Brennan, president & CEO, Discovery World, in a statement. "As we kick off summer, many families have to tighten their belts in response to rising gas prices, and some are staying home instead of hitting the road. We invite them to have a gallon on us, take the bus, ride their bikes or do whatever they need to get here, and we will help them keep a few extra bucks in their pocket at the same time."
The new admission prices, -- valid through May 31 -- are $12.95 for adults, $8.95 for children.

It still seems far too expensive for a museum where a good portion of the exhibits always seem to be out of order.
