Brewers designate Lehr for assignment

The Brewers today purchased the contract of RHP Joe Winkelsas from Double-A Huntsville. RHP Justin Lehr was designated for assignment to make room for Winkelsas on the 40-man roster.
Winkelsas, 32, was 1-1 with a 3.72 ERA and four saves in 13 relief appearances with the Stars. He was signed to a minor league contract wit the Brewers in January.
