The Brewers activated second baseman Rickie Weeks from the 15-day disabled list this afternoon, clearing a roster spot by optioning outfielder Tony Gwynn, Jr., to Class AAA Nashville.
Weeks, who had been out with a sore wrist, is expected to be in the lineup when the team takes on San Francisco tonight at Miller Park.
Yovanni Gallardo will make his major-league debut in that game, which will be televised in high-definition on FSN Wisconsin.
