Dave Begel did it earlier this week. Today, my favorite national sports guy, Bill Simmons, has done it too. Simmons, in a 5,000-word column on ESPN.com, picks the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl.
Here's a snip from his post, "Prediction X: The six best teams this season will be New England, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Green Bay, the Giants ... and New Orleans. (That's right, New Orleans. You heard me.) The other six-playoff teams will be Indianapolis, Seattle, Chicago, Baltimore, Denver and Washington. In the Super Bowl, Green Bay will defeat Pittsburgh to cap off the first Eff You season devoted to a specific player. That player would be you, Brett Favre."
He goes on to predict: "Super Bowl: Packers 27, Steelers 19."
I'm far from an NFL expert, but I am much more excited about this season than last. Proof is, though, in the games. And those begin on Sunday!

I'd be more confident of the Simmon's pick if that retard Begel didn't agree with him. Go Pack!!!

this is a great line about Cutler though, as it is seems very accurate- " Every time they show him on the sidelines, he looks like a pissed-off trust-fund kid who can't believe the valet scratched his Escalade hybrid."
