While many sports fans in the state wonder whether Wisconsin quarterback John Stocco will play Saturday against Iowa, the Bucks provided an update about a major injury today.

The news wasn't great for Bucks fans.

Forward Bobby Simmons, who has been out since Oct. 14 with a stress reaction in his right heel, will likely miss at least three or four more weeks. Here is the statement released by the team.

"Milwaukee Bucks General Manager Larry Harris announced today that team physicians and medical experts have conducted the scheduled one-month re-evaluation of the stress reaction in Bobby Simmons' right heel. The injury has shown improvement and Simmons is going to continue with rehabilitation, with a goal of returning to the basketball court in the next three to four weeks.

Simmons, 26, has been sidelined with the injury since Oct. 14."

That's the way it goes with injuries; Andrew Bogut came back sooner than planned, but Simmons is missing more time than expected.
