Let the madness begin.
As expected, both Marquette and Wisconsin received invitations to the NCAA Tournament Sunday evening.
The Golden Eagles, seeded sixth in the South Region, face 11th seed Kentucky while Wisconsin, which earlier in the day added a Big Ten Tournament Championship to its regular season crown, was seeded third in the Midwest Region and faces Cal State Fullerton.
Both games are on Thursday, with the Badgers in Omaha, Neb., and Marquette playing in Anaheim, Calif. The Golden Eagles take the court at 1:30 p.m. Wisconsin's game is the last of the day, tipping off at approximately 8:40 p.m.
