OK, I lied. I said I wasn't going to blog any more about the Brewers this year.
But with a decision imminent on the next Brewers' manager, I started looking at the options available and decided to place some odds on the following chances. (This blog is for entertainment purposes only -- but mostly because you'd surely lose money if you wagered on any of these ridiculous odds):
Dale Sveum: 2 to 1
Bob Brenly: 6 to 1
Ken Macha: 8 to 1
Willie Randoph: 8 to 1
Bobby Valentine: 10 to 1
Mike Hargrove: 14 to 1
Gabe Kapler (player/manager): 15 to 1
Robin Yount: 19 to 1
Paul Molitor: 27 to 1
Phil Garner: 35 to 1
Mark Attanasio: 40 to 1
Bob Uecker: 55 to 1
Johnny Logan: 250 to 1
Pat Listach: 300 to 1
Del Crandall: 400 to 1
Tom Trebelhorn: 938 to 1
Larry Krystkowiak: 1,200 to 1
Guido the Doorman: 1,752 to 1
Miller High Life Delivery Guy: 2,000 to 1
Ned Yost: 1,000,000 to 1
Andy Tarnoff: 10,000,000 to 1

I know that the second half of these "odds" is a joke, but I'd say the odds of Pat Listach being the next manager of the Brewers, though remote, are much better than Mark Attanasio being the next manager. Listach is actually a rising managerial star in the Cubs minor league organization, I believe.
