How is the average Wisconsin fan reacting to news that Brett Favre is going to retire again? Let's just say a lot of people seem underwhelmed.
ESPN.com reported the story this morning. We've been taking reaction on "The D-List" on 540 ESPN and it's apparent that many fans used up their personal allotment of Favre emotion last year.
One caller summed up his reaction thusly: "Favre retired. When do pitchers and catchers report?"
The funny thing is, a lot of people don't believe Favre is really done. They think he'll still try to manuever his way to the Vikings somehow.
Said one caller: "I hope he does go to Minnesota, so the Packers can kick his butt."
What a difference a year makes.
