Marquette's game against second-ranked Connecticut tonight at the Bradley Center is the most coveted ticket in town since the Brewers' playoff series against Philadelphia. Fans are going to extreme measures to secure seats to the nationally-televised game, and Bootleggers, 1023 N. Old World 3rd St., is more than willing to help.
Bootleggers is sponsoring a "Get a Buzz Cut for Buzz" promotion. Marquette fans willing to switch to a hairstyle similar to that of Golden Eagles' coach Buzz Williams can win tickets to the game.
The event starts at 2 p.m. Three winners will be chosen based on hair length and on which change will be the most drastic. Sport Clips representatives will provide the three winners with a professional buzz cut, then the radio station and Miller Lite will provide each winner with a pair of tickets to the game.
Winners will be determined by 4 p.m., during a live broadcast of "The World's Greatest Sports Talk Show" with Steve "The Homer" True.
