With pitchers and catchers already cavorting in Arizona, the Brewers announce Jim Powell's replacement today. Cory Provus, who worked for the Cubs, will sit next to Hall of Famer Bob Uecker.
Provus previously handled pre- and post-game duty for the Cubs radio network and filled in one inning per game for Pat Hughes, who preceded Powell as Uecker's partner.
Powell, who spent 13 seasons in the Brewers' booth, accepted a job this winter with Atlanta, where he will team with Hall of Fame pitcher Don Sutton.
