A heavy downpour hit the Summerfest grounds just as the gates opened today, silencing the music on several stages.
After about 10 minutes, the rain began to lighten. We'll have updates from the grounds throughout the day.
UPDATE: By 12:22 p.m., the rain had lightened and the music was about to resume.
