The Harley 105th anniversary is almost over, but so far, have the thousands of Harley riders been respectful of Brew City?
Some residents were concerned about loud Harleys disrupting family life. Other Milwaukeeans expressed dissatisfaction over the number of out-of-towners that would take over area bars and restaurants.
At the same time, many -- maybe even most -- Milwaukeeans were happy to welcome the Harley riders from all corners of world.
But how has the experience been for you? Did the Harley riders live up to, surpass or let down your expectations? Sound-off, Milwaukee!
It's been great to have you, riders. I think the Harley riders have been very cool. Sure, their bikes are loud, but I find the riders, overall, to be respectful. They are welcome back here any time.
It's been a drag. The Harley scene has been just as annoying as I expected it to be. The load bikes, the drunken behavior and the general attitude that they own the city makes me want to leave the city for the 110th.

Absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the 110th! I don't drive a motor cycle but that did not stop me from enjoying many of the events around town. Made me very proud to be a Milwaukeean and show my city off to the many riders I talked to. Within a 4 feet radius I talked with people from Holland, Germany, Connecticut and Georgia

I don't live in Milwaukee...in Connecticut. My wife and I did come to Milwaukee for our 1st trip ever with another couple. We had a blast, we are not the 2am partying types, but found milwaukee, the people, and the events Harley organized all awesome. the people/locals we're incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly. We already have plans to come back to see more, and to see summerfest as well. We we're in the parade and could not believe all the people out, and the kids with huge smiles on their faces. I wish when I was a kid I could have gone to a parade like that! It made showing up @ parking lot @ 6am with no coffee totally worth it! :-) Thanks Milwaukee!!!!!!

And the Amount of Money poored into our city! LEARN FROM OUR NEIGHBORS...Now we know why Chicago wants to host almost every event in the country. MONEY!! MOney!
