While Bob Dylan dad has a headlining slot at Summerfest earlier in the season, son Jakob and his own chart-topping band The Wallflowers top the bill at State Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Reserved seat tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9 and are $30, $20 and $10.
The Wallflowers' 1996 disc "Bringing Down the Horse" spawned three hits -- "6th Avenue Heartache," "One Headlight" and "The Difference" -- and was a multi-platinum seller and earned the band two Grammys.
The band's most recent disc is "Rebel, Sweetheart," released in 2005. Dylan released his first solo record, "Seeing Things," in 2008.
The 2009 Wisconsin State Fair takes place Thursday,
Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 16.
