U.S. Sen. Barack Obama will speak at a rally for Gov. Jim Doyle in Downtown Milwaukee's Pere Marquette Park, 3rd and Kilbourn, on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. Also appearing are Sen. Herb Kohl, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton, and Attorney General candidate Kathleen Falk.
Obama is touring the country to support select candidates and promote his new book "The Audacity of Hope." The 45-year-old senator from Illinois is a possible presidential candidate for 2008. At noon on Tuesday, Obama will talk about his book at "Schwartz Live at Alverno Presents," a sold-out event, at Alverno's Pitman Theatre.
