MILWAUKEE -- Just in time for summer, OnMilwaukee.com, in a joint venture with Lightburn has launched a brand new way to buy, sell and browse local merchandise, cars, personal ads and more.
OnMilwaukee.com Classifieds allow users to enjoy all the benefits of traditional classifieds from the comfort of the office or home without having to deal with telephone operators, black ink on finger tips, or strange numbering systems that make buying and selling confusing. From old computers to that beer can collection gaining dust in the basement, selling unwanted or unneeded items and making money is now even easier and completely online at http://classifields.onmilwaukee.com/
"With OnMilwaukee.com's new classifieds, people can buy and sell items with only a few clicks. The system is designed to be very easy to use, and it costs a lot less than posting an ad in the newspaper," said OnMilwaukee.com co-founder and VP Business Development Jon Krouse.
"OnMilwaukee.com and Lightburn designed the classifieds completely from scratch," added Krouse. It's part of a new joint venture between the firms, called RummageWorks, LLC. Lightburn is a full-service Web development firm based in Milwaukee, and OnMilwaukee.com is the city's only daily magazine.
"We are proud of this innovative system. It is extremely easy to use and now -- just in time for summer selling -- it allows users to buy, sell and even find love with the new OnMilwaukee.com Personals section," said Andy Tarnoff, co-founder and VP Creative Development.
"As we continue to expand our offerings, online personal listings and classifieds will become more popular, not to mention a great convenience for Milwaukee-area Internet users. The system is totally integrated with the rest of OnMilwaukee.com, truly offering our 250,000 monthly users a one-stop shop," added Tarnoff.
Buying and selling or even finding a date online at OnMilwaukee.com is simple and easy. To post an ad on the OnMilwaukee.com classifieds one needs to create a member account with a valid e-mail address. Once an account is created posting ads is only a matter of clicks. All ads include a photo at no additional cost. It's also completely free to post a personals ad.
Several categories are available: Announcements, Apartments & Rentals Autos, Business Opportunities, Merchandise, Personals, Pets/Animals, Real Estate, Roommates, Services, Tickets and Yard/Rummage Sales.
