MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's daily magazine, OnMilwaukee.com, and M Magazine, Milwaukee's monthly lifestyle magazine, want to know if you're a Milwaukee expert. Online and in print, the companies today launched "The Great Milwaukee Quiz," and challenge Milwaukeeans to distinguish a "beermergency" from a beer baron.

This quiz isn't for the meek. It's a true test - 100 questions (with five bonus questions online) -- of Milwaukee personalities, culture, food, music, landmarks and more.

"This is the ultimate quiz of Milwaukee expertise. It's also a great media collaboration between two entities that really know our city," said Andy Tarnoff, publisher of OnMilwaukee.com.

"We're excited to combine our two staffs' immense encyclopedia of Milwaukee trivia - it's been a lot of fun," said Jordan Dechambre-Childers, managing editor, M Magazine.

The quiz appears in the September issue of the City Edition of M, which hits newsstands next week, and on the pages OnMilwaukee.com beginning Aug. 23. It can be seen online here:

The two companies have also joined together to reward quiz-takers with an ultimate Milwaukee prize pack, including Brewers tickets, theater tickets, $150 in dining certificates and much more.

OnMilwaukee.com is Milwaukee's only daily magazine and city guide, and one of the only independent online magazines in the country. With more than 1 million monthly readers, daily stories, exclusive content, interviews and buzz make OnMilwaukee.com part of the city's must-read regimen.

M Magazine, which boasts Northshore, City and West editions, strives to provide the finest coverage of home design, local culture, fashion, health and society events to target communities on a monthly basis. Each magazine features spirited, in-the-know content specific to its regional and target market.
