Great to see th St. Joan of Arc chapel mentioned -- beautiful, historic, and definitely worth a visit. But, it isn't the oldest building in the US, though it is the oldest of European origin. The cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde were built between AD600 - 1300 and there are some other structures at least that old. The Chapel dates from the 1400s and contains some things that are even older. See the Wikipedia article about it!
