I'm surprised your guidebook didn't say anything about the size of the hotel rooms. That's common knowledge.

I've traveled all over Europe--from Dublin to Istanbul to Helsinki to Lisbon--and that's about the size of all hotel rooms, especially in the large cities where you've been, unless you want to pay out the nose. Next time, maybe seek out a B&B.

I don't fret about it though, it's not like you went to Europe to hang out in the hotel, right?
