I am actually not a parent, but I find myself watching this show as well. It seems pretty realistic in terms of the home-life situations, arguing and whatnot...but I when they go out I'm not so sure. I mean, I saw an episode where they got their own tram at the zoo and got to handle penguins -- not something most families get to experience (especially with one stay-at-home parent). I guess they have to entertain the viewers... All in all a pretty good show.
