Talkback: Brunch guide

After going to Hi Hat Lounge for Brunch two weeks ago, I can safely say that it is one of the worst meals and experiences in Milwaukee's growing gastronomy fields. After arriving early, around noon, we spent the better part of a half an hour waiting for a waiter or waitress to come and take a drink order. After ordering drinks, our waitress had fled before we make our food orders. She then magically appeared another 20 minutes later, and managed to write down our orders incorrectly and had to re-do them. It would be another hour and 15 minutes before we were served our lukewarm (cold) breakfasts. At no point were we given anything to drink, water glasses were not refilled, and the waitress managed to avoid our table at any cost. The manager was indifferent and even indignant about our claims. This restaurant is not to be visited unless you are a glutton for punishment or terrible food/service.

Milwaukee has a variety of excellent brunch locations, don't fall prey to the excellent location and incredible bar that Hi Hat provides in the evening.

How are you celebrating the completed Marquette Interchange?
Trying out new exit ramps, even when I don't need to.
Continuing to drive less, because gas prices are bankrupting me.
Using this opportunity to remind people that Milwaukee still needs a mass transit solution.
The construction rarely affected me, and neither does its completion.
