In response to kearbear114's talkback, we contacted Carrie Trousil at the Milwaukee Public Museum and she replies, "Totally not true. In fact, we have two snake buttons now! (well, we have for some time.) and they BOTH work." So, rest assured, Milwaukee, the snake button is alive and well.
