It is not correct that OMG can proceed if it builds a *smaller* building. They simply need to have fewer dwelling units, which could mean fewer but larger apartments, or some other design that doesn't result in a smaller building. Bando indicated this would be the case at a public meeting, saying that they'd need to have fewer apartments with higher rents if they didn't get the variance. The rents he projected at that time were typical of the Riverwest area.

So much for anti-gentrification...

Trying out new exit ramps, even when I don't need to.
Continuing to drive less, because gas prices are bankrupting me.
Using this opportunity to remind people that Milwaukee still needs a mass transit solution.
The construction rarely affected me, and neither does its completion.
