Barrett slams voucher spending again
In his “The Barrett Report” newsletter, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett called the equitable voucher funding plan -- in which city homeowners pay about $200 so low income students can to go to private and religious schools -- a “raw deal.”

Business way outspends labor on campaigns
For those of you who fear the power of organized labor come election time, a recent Wisconsin Democracy Campaign report should quell some of that concern. The WDC found that business interests still fuel the fire of campaign giving by a large margin over organized labor.
