"It Might Get Loud" riffs on three guitar greats
On Jan. 28, 2008, three guys got together to talk about guitars. While it happens every day all over the world, this meeting was different. The three men were The Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White, and that meeting was captured on film by "An Inconvenient Truth" director Davis Guggenheim. The resulting picture, "It Might Get Loud," arrives in Milwaukee this month.

Every now and again I check out the top 10 records of the week, never expecting there to be any overlap with my tastes. There are rare exceptions, however, like this week, when U2 and Neko Case had the top-selling discs. And, in other news, is U2 coming to the B.C.?

U2 coming to Soldier Field Sept. 12
There have been rumors that U2 would announce a Chicago date today and so it is. The Dublin foursome plays Soldier Field on Saturday, Sept. 12 as the opening date of its "U2 360˚ Tour" in support of its new disc, "No Line on the Horizon."
