Charting Pabst progress
I don't need to remind many people that the first Pabst proposal, known as "Pabst City," stirred up controversy and resulted in finger-pointing and name-calling around City Hal. Having been present for virtually every aspect of the deal, I can assure you that the reality show was much less interesting.

Bauman floats Downtown streetcar loop
With light rail stopped in its tracks in Milwaukee and the Connector, Metra and KRM plans either in discussion or limbo, Ald. Robert Bauman recently introduced a Common Council resolution calling for a feasibility study on a new streetcar loop plan for Downtown.

Zilber announces his big-picture plans for Pabst site
Joseph J. Zilber, founder and chairman of Zilber Ltd. Real estate company, announced Wednesday that he had completed the purchase of the former Pabst Brewery site -- the controversial 21 acres of currently unused space on the edge of Downtown.
