Milwaukee's best bar food, 2008: Hooligan's
Although The Wicked Hop came close this year, this "super bar" keeps winning Milwaukee's best bar food for a reason. They've taken the greasy grub you expect at a bar and elevated it to include lean ostrich burgers, grilled portabella mushroom sandwiches, Cajun catfish fillets and quite a bit more. And if you want straight-up bar burgers, Hooligan's doesn't disappoint.

Buffalo wings guide
The exact origin of Buffalo wings is unknown, but many Milwaukeeans might not even care. It doesn't matter who started the craze, just as long as there are enough places around town that can keep it going.
