With a regular-season record crowd of 71,113 crammed into Lambeau Field for the highly anticipated match-up, Dallas had the air of a Super Bowl contender. The Cowboys dispatched Green Bay, 27-16, before a national TV audience on "Sunday Night Football."

Why can't pro athletes try hard all the time?
It's great when pro athletes admit that their effort in a game was lackluster. The question is: why is it lackluster in the first place?
