Friday nights at the bSide are marked by DJs Why B and Kid Cut Up's innovative mixes. "I have no problem playing commercial music," says Cut Up, but both adhere to the idea that hip-hop is "more about how you play than what you play."

Davis Family Band draws on two generations of talent
"The family that plays together stays together," says Greg Davis, who plays drums, sax, trombone and guitar in the band he, his wife and their three sons formed in 1983 called the Davis Family Band. The band still plays approximately 44 gigs a year.
