Burger bulletin: New Sobelman's will be different
Dave Sobelman doesn't want to scare or disappoint the fans who have come to love the burgers at his popular pub on St. Paul Avenue. He does, however, want people to know that Sobelman's Tallgrass Grill, which will take over the Farwell Avenue location previously occupied by Patty Burger, will have a slightly different identity.

Burger fans on the East Side have reason to celebrate. Sobelman's Pub and Grill, which has been serving up delicious burgers for the past decade at 1900 W. St. Paul Ave., is opening a new location in the building that formerly housed Patty Burger.

Dear Five Guys: Where have you been all my life?
Looking for an easy way to start a debate in this town? It's simple: just ask people who makes the best burger. Some will say Sobelman's. Some will say Kopp's. Some will say Elsa's or Solly's. Several other places will pop into the conversation, but they'll need to make room. The national chain -- Five Guys Burgers and Fries -- is announcing its presence with authority.
