Those are the kinds of comeback story sports - including football - want to tell and fans want to hear. But unfortunately, that's not the story Kevin Pearce has to tell in "The Crash Reel," Lucy Walker's terrific and urgent documentary. His is a comeback story without the comeback.

In 2007, Bay View's Andy Maske created a Web site called skateboard-stickers.com to showcase his thousands of vintage skateboard stickers. Today, it is possibly the largest online museum of skateboarding stickers in the world.
