Italian Film Festival makes great debut
With only about a month to organize the first Italian Film Festival in Milwaukee, Barbara Klein, Paul Salsini and I didn't know exactly what to expect. Last night was the first of three nights at Marquette's Varsity Theater and with a turnout of more than 100 for "The Fever," we were pleased.

Sardinian visit launches IACC of Wisconsin
Wisconsin's recently launched Italian American Chamber of Commerce, which works in collaboration with the Chicago branch, held its first event Wednesday when the Port of Milwaukee hosted a group of representatives from the port of Cagliari on the Italian island of Sardinia.
