The top five Wisconsin sports stories in October
The top sports story of September is a no-brainer. The Brewers' roller coaster ride to the post-season as the National League Wild Card is an easy choice. After blowing a 5 ½-game lead, the Brewers went down to the last game on Sunday, won by a great pitching performance by CC Sabathia and a clutch home run by Ryan Braun.

A Brewers fan with a Philly address
Upon moving to the Philadelphia area over Labor Day weekend I was indifferent towards the Phillies and their fans. Like the rest of Brewers Nation I have been focused on our team's run at the postseason. Brewers charge into the playoffs; will face Phillies

A few minutes later, the Mets lost to the Marlins in New York, giving the Brewers the National League wild card berth and their first trip to the playoffs since 1982.

"And then, there was one..."
This could be one of the greatest days in Milwaukee sports history. On the other hand, it could be one of the worst. As the they square off against the Cubs in the final game of the regular season, the Brewers need a victory to guarantee a tie for the wild-card berth. Even before the gates open, the tension at the ballpark is thick.

How Brewers can keep both Sheets and Sabathia
Baseball pundits have said that it's impossible for the Brewers to keep both Ben Sheets and CC Sabathia next year, and even keeping one of the two is a long-shot, at best. Fine, but show us the proof.

TPS 20: Favre, Sabathia, and The Feelings of the Fan
Hello out there in reader land. I was going to do something special for TPS #20, but instead I'll save it for #25. I just have to write about these two topics. For those of you who don't care about these topics stop reading. This blog might end up being long, I'm not sure, but I have to get it ou...
