Legal snafu scuttles "Renaissance" screening
Milwaukee International Film Festival goers expecting to see the world premiere of "The Renaissance," the new documentary by local director and producer Chris Smith, instead saw "The Yes Men" Friday due to legal battles surrounding the film.

Half a million books make Renaissance a treasure trove
It has a fairly ramshackle image, but Renaissance is definitely one book that you shouldn't judge by its cover. The stairs might creak under your feet, but they'll lead you to a selection unmatched in southeastern Wisconsin.
