It's been a bumper crop year for them, in the Hoffmanns' back garden, and around the state. That's thanks in part to ample rainfall early in the summer and sunny weather lately.

I remember going trick or treating as a child when the lady down the street from my grandmother's house always gave out Rice Krispie treats wrapped in saran wrap with a nickel pressed into the bottom.
