Dogs Bollocks could be start of new British invasion
The East Side's new Dogs Bollocks, 2321 N. Murray Ave., is British, not Irish, though owner Tony Wright says it's a distinction that's too often confused. "The Irish have done a great job of exporting their culture, but the Brits haven't done it as much," he says. As an English export himself, he hopes to help change that.

Water Street's new JC's does pub food with flair
Wasting no time since the closing of Edgar's Calypso, new tenant JC's Pub & Grill has arrived on Water Street. Owner Jonathan Cervero calls his debut venture a "nice, affordable restaurant and bar in the heart of Milwaukee." Check it out for yourself at tonight's grand opening party at 7 p.m.
