As I walked through the large wooden door entrance, the aroma inside of Pizza Man on 2597 N. Downer Ave. was so intoxicating that it made my stomach quiver. This smell of Italian bliss, of course, stayed with me throughout my visit. Near the bar stood Tony Menzel, a waiter who has worked at Pizza Man since it re-opened in the summer of 2013 following a devastating fire.

If you stopped over at Rustico for lunch or dinner on Monday, you may have noticed a closed sign in the window. That's because the restaurant is getting a bit of a facelift. Changes start with a brand new menu, which rolls out on Tuesday, October 21.

This month I wanted to get to at least a couple places I haven't been in the city, and one goal was to be somewhere on the Marquette University campus when something was happening basketball-wise. I not only did that, and followed it up by rediscovering an old favorite later in the evening.

I googled Magellan's upon getting a recommendation and learned it offered the self-proclaimed "best pizza in Waukesha." I haven't had great experiences with Waukesha pizza, so I figured I'd give this place a visit.
