"Marley & Me" cuts too close to the bone
I think I made a mistake last night by watching the film "Marley & Me." I'm not saying this because I thought the film was a waste of time, but because I have a 13-year-old, deaf, gray-muzzled Lab who can barely walk up the stairs.

"Night at the Museum," a family friendly charmer
Historic museums are packed with exhibits from all periods in history. Many of those exhibits look like they could be life-like. So what if everything came to life at night? How cool would it be?

"Dupree" shows its hand too early
“You, Me and Dupree” is a romantic comedy with some Farrelly Brothers trimmings that doesn’t stretch those “hows” nearly far enough. The film shows us its entire hand within the first 10 minutes.

Reader poll
If you could choose, would you prefer December or March to stay warm and snowless in Milwaukee?
December. I'm not ready for winter yet.
March. By then, I need winter to be over.
There's no use complaining or hoping for better weather in Wisconsin.
Actually, I like snow.
