It's only when we get to the end of the play that the truth behind the comic genius of Groucho Marx finally gets revealed. It's the crowning moment of the spectacular production of "Groucho: A Life in Revue" that opened at Next Act Theatre Friday night. And it's the moment that starts the tears coming as Groucho remembers the good times with his brothers. The tears are a surprise after almost 90 minutes of hilarity.

There could be no more fitting way to honor the memory of Milwaukeean Sally Marks than with a festival of her greatest love - theater. Uprooted Theatre, the brainchild and nurtured company of Marti Gobel - one of the very best and busiest actors in Milwaukee - is honoring Marks' memory with a six-play fete, called "Stretch MARKS," to be held at Next Act Theatre.

The first time I saw Alexandra Bonesho was in Next Act Theatre's outstanding production of "Microcrisis" last fall. The play had an absolute powerhouse of a cast. David Cecsarini, John Kishline, Lee Palmer, Michael Cotey and Erica Cruz Hernandez were all there, each with a boatload of credits and awards. And then there was Bonesho.
