It's difficult to fall under the spell of "The Love Guru"
In this week's edition of the DVD Screening Room, OnMilwaukee.com movie expert Mark Metcalf samples a few light comedies. Metcalf found it hard to watch Mike Myers' seventh-grade humor in "The Love Guru," but loved the pacing and visuals in "Speed Racer." That is, until the latter film ran out of gas in the second hour.

"Shrek the Third" packs in laughs and stars
In the kingdom of Far Far Away, there’s a green ogre sitting upon the animated feature film throne. He’s king of the family-friendly genre when it comes to movies with subtle jokes that the kiddies won’t get and parents can crack a smile.
