DeMay strikes out on his own ... briefly
Chris DeMay is known in the Milwaukee music scene as being the pointman in the stalwart alt.country band West of Rome and also for his work with Michelle Anthony. Now, DeMay steps out on his own with a somewhat misleadingly-titled EP called “I Won’t Be Me.”

Milwaukee’s Michelle Anthony, who relocated to Austin, Texas a few years back has finally issues her long-awaited second disc. The seven-song “frozenstarpalace” mini-LP follows Anthony’s acclaimed solo debut, “Stand Fall Repeat.”

The second release from Milwaukee's No Kiss For New Years, "We Go Through Phases," makes its debut on Friday, Feb. 17 at Shank Hall. No Kiss frontman Gregory Borden, who will be performing an acoustic solo set, is opening for Michelle Anthony and Dustworks. Show time is 10 p.m. and the cover is $8.
