Lets take a minute to be thankful for Ueck
With the passings this week of both Harry Kalas and Merle Harmon, I've been thinking a bit about how lucky we all are to have Bob Uecker calling Brewers games on the radio. I hope, as fans, we don't take "Mr. Baseball" for granted. He's such a legend, and we're lucky to have him.

Former Brewers announcer Harmon dead at age 82
Merle Harmon, who called Brewers games on radio throughout the 1970s and teamed with Bob Uecker, died Wednesday at Arlington (Texas) Memorial Hospital.

"Voices of Summer: Baseball's Greatest Announcers," written by baseball historian Curt Smith is out with its list of the 101 best baseball broadcasters. And Uecker, the voice of our beloved Brewers, comes in No. 12.
