On the town in Milwaukee: How diverse is your nightlife?
It was a conversation sparked by McBob's Bar and Grill. If you've never been, McBob's is part Irish tavern, part sports bar but mainly a local joint drawing a hefty portion of the surrounding Washington Heights neighborhood. They serve heaping mounds of corned beef, Irish beers on tap plus great deals on giant tacos.

Moments after the doors opened at 8 a.m. at this West Side favorite, a couple dozen people were already at the free Irish breakfast buffet, which lasts until 10 a.m. and included scrambled eggs, soda bread and Irish stew.

Every year, two Irish bars duke it out to be the number one pick from the OnMilwaukee.com readers. This year, the top prize once again goes to the venerable County Clare, and its traditional foe, Paddy's Pub, finishes second. Meanwhile, the OnMilwaukee.com editors pick Brocach.
