SWRPC sees increased scrutiny, federal complaints
The Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is getting closer scrutiny these days. The NAACP and the ACLU filed a complaint with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance of the U.S. Department of Labor. According to the ACLU, the complaint came about after SEWRPC said it would not do an outside search for a new director and assistant director.

City reaches accord on Kilbourn Tower settlement
A settlement that forces developers to pay $950,000 for a patch of land near Kilbourn Tower appears nearly complete. In return, the city will give back some $100,000 in performance bonds the tower took out on the project.
