Green Bay cornerback Charles Woodson did everything but pass the turkey on Thursday. Woodson, 33, had six solo tackles, sacked the quarterback, forced and recovered a fumble, intercepted two passes -- one of which he returned for a touchdown -- blanketed a promising young receiver and donated $2 million to a Michigan hospital.

It may not tickle the fancy of football fanatics in places like Austin, San Diego or Walla Walla, but there is something familiar, comfortable and flat-out right about the Packers playing the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. It will feel even more comfortable to fans if Green Bay continues its recent run of dominance against Detroit.
