DJs Kid Cut Up, Why B master hip-hop mixes at bSide
Friday nights at the bSide are marked by DJs Why B and Kid Cut Up's innovative mixes. "I have no problem playing commercial music," says Cut Up, but both adhere to the idea that hip-hop is "more about how you play than what you play."

Although bulldozed by big chains for years, independent bookshops seem to be -- thankfully -- reemerging from the rubble. Milwaukee will welcome a feminist bookshop, aptly named Milwaukee Feminist Books.
