Folk Fair performers educate, entertain, bond
Dancers have been a part of Folk Fair since the event started more than 60 years ago. For some, it's a hobby. For others, it's a way to educate or learn about a heritage. And then there are the "lifers" -- the folks that have grown up and built lasting friendships -- and families -- through the Fair, which runs this weekend at State Fair Park's Wisconsin Expo Center.

Eat your way around the globe at the Folk Fair
If you've always wanted to take a culinary tour around the world but couldn't make the time or raise the funds, you can do it at 2008 Holiday Folk Fair International, Nov. 21-23, held in the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park. You can eat your way around the world for $10 or less at the 64th annual Folk Fair, according to event organizers.
