Hixton is a second-hand shopping jackpot
This past weekend, while driving to a cabin in Spooner, we discovered a second-hand shopping Mecca: Hixton. Less than 15 miles northwest of Black River Falls, Hixton is a small town of about 500 with some of the most interesting antiquing options I've seen in Wisconsin.

If you want to go on your own “antiques roadshow” this holiday shopping season, follow The Trail of Hidden Treasures. Traveling through the communities of Warrens, Hixton, Hatfield, Black River Falls and Osseo, the trail follows Hwys. 12 and 95, I-94 and several side roads.
