Last month, we "traveled" the portion of Highway 51 from Hurley to Stevens Point. This month, we'll head south from the Point area to where 51 exits Wisconsin south of Beloit.

Let's Take A Ride: On Highway 51
Highway 51 isn't Route 66. A song has never been written about it, or a TV show produced. Yet, the U.S. highway is known as "the ribbon tying North to South," since it runs from northern Wisconsin to Louisiana.
